Today, Assign Engineering is an expanding consultancy with some 50 employees working in the offshore, shipping and motor industries. Our customers are mostly located in Western Sweden, Central Norway and the Oslo area. The group has a subsidiary, Assign Engineering AS, which handles all business in Norway.

With the aid of preliminary studies and requirement specifications, we develop new components and plants or upgrade existing facilities by integrating them with new solutions. We offer leading-edge expertise in steel and sheet metal design, plastic and cast metal design, piping, geometry assurance and more. Our engineers use different CAD systems to help create each unique component. The company can offer expertise in the following systems:

AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Catia V4/V5, Pro/Engineer & Solid Works.

Our experienced project engineers / project managers assume full responsibility for the entire project, taking care of component selection, design work, scheduling, supplier contacts and commissioning.

We can readily conduct consulting assignments from our fully equipped office in Gothenburg. Most of our consultants hold graduate degrees in mechanical engineering or equivalent professional qualifications.

Assign Engineering has liability insurance for its technical consultants through the Swedish insurance group Länsförsäkringar.
